亚洲研究哲学博士

英属哥伦比亚大学温哥华校区（UBC Vancouver）的 Doctor of Philosophy in Asian Studies (PhD) 是 Faculty of Arts 下 Department of Asian Studies 提供的研究型博士项目。项目授课地点为 UBC Vancouver，Mode of delivery 为 in person，Program Components 为 Dissertation。 UBC Asian Studies 是加拿大旗舰级亚洲研究系，也是北美公认实力很强的亚洲研究单位之一。该 PhD 面向在不同亚洲地区、语言和人文学科方向开展原创研究的学生，覆盖 Chinese、Japanese、Korean、South Asian Studies、Tibetan and Himalayan culture、West Asian culture、East Asian Buddhism、Islamic Studies 等方向。 学生可在 literature、visual and popular culture、linguistics、history、philosophy、religious studies、popular and visual culture、pre-modern and modern history、book history、translation、film/media、religion and philosophy 等领域形成跨地区或地区专门研究路径。Department 拥有 20 多位 graduate faculty，并定期举办大型 collaborative projects、lecture series、workshops、professional development opportunities、postdoctoral fellow 和 visiting scholar 活动。 该项目尤其适合已经具备亚洲研究或相关领域硕士训练，并有明确 dissertation research agenda、亚洲语言能力和潜在 supervisor fit 的学生。UBC Library 是加拿大第二大研究型图书馆，Asian Library 也是北美重要亚洲馆藏之一，尤其在 East Asian materials 方面资源突出。
