它不是 B.Sc. in Natural Resources 下的 major,而是一个围绕 Indigenous land stewardship、community capacity、governance、ecology 和 action-oriented reconciliation 设计的 cohort-based interdisciplinary degree。
BILS 旨在支持 Indigenous Peoples 在全球范围内 reclaim and revitalize their lands、strengthen systems of governance、build economic opportunities,并把 Indigenous and Western knowledge systems 结合起来,应对 climate future 中的 community capacity、sustainability 和 resiliency 挑战。
学习内容覆盖 Indigenous ways of knowing、ecology、law、governance、economics、communication、research、community capacity building、data management、business management、GIS and mapping、disturbance and climate adaptation、policy 和 community conflict management。
项目面向有意与 Indigenous communities and Nations 合作,从事 Indigenous resource stewardship、land healing、holistic resource management、public administration、policy、community planning、resource-sector consultation、ENGO projects、government roles 或 Indigenous-led economic development 的学生。
